A Perfect Summer Wedding in August

In August, we had the pleasure of providing full technical and event support for a beautiful summer wedding. Our team supplied festoon lighting, uplighting, speakers, band lighting, and staging, as well as organising the tables and chairs and coordinating with the tent supplier to make sure everything came together seamlessly.

We installed over 200 metres of festoon lighting with warm white bulbs, which created a gorgeous glow across the site as the sun went down. Inside the marquee, subtle uplighting helped set the mood for the evening reception, while the band lighting brought the dance floor to life once the music started.

For sound, we used our RCF ART Mk4 active speakers to provide clear, even coverage for the ceremony and speeches. A Sennheiser radio microphone system ensured the celebrant and readers could be heard perfectly, even in the open air. As the ceremony location was quite a distance from the main power source, we ran the PA from a small generator, keeping everything neat and self-contained without disrupting the flow of the day.

It was one of those perfect summer weekends where everything just clicked — blue skies, great music, and an amazing couple. The lighting looked stunning as night fell, and the dance floor was packed until the very end. The clients were absolutely thrilled with how smoothly everything ran, and we couldn’t have asked for a better result.
