Our team of technicians have years of experience in professional theatre and events. We also work with a team of other experienced technicians to ensure that all requirements of events can be covered. 

Our extensive events equipment hire stock can be tailored to your requirements whether that be for weddings, corperate events or theatre as a whole. 

As well as theatre we also have an extensive knowledge of IT networks and experience installing networks for small businesses, including computer configuration, WiFi and CCTV.

    Isaac Cowlard

    Co-Director

    Isaac started working in technical theatre whilst studying for his A levels. He continued this hobby through to Bath Spa university, focusing mainly on sound and lighting, where he gained a BA Hons in Theatre Production and a hobby became a career.

    Since graduating in 2016 Isaac worked as a in-house theatre technician before taking on the technical manager role at the Princess Theatre, Burnham On Sea and modernising the technical department, as well as working as a casual technician in many roles and venues across the south west.

  • Stuart Comley

    Co-Director

    Stuart’s passion for technical theatre started at a young age, leading him to collaborate with several local community theaters. His journey continued as he pursued studies in production arts at college, where he not only gained valuable knowledge and experience but also fostered crucial connections within the theatre industry.

    Since then, Stuart has worked on a variety of events as a freelance technician, lending his expertise to numerous events and theatres across the UK.

  • Jamie Thompson

    Technician

    Jamie has had a keen interest working in technical theatre since school. He continued this whilst studying at University in Swansea, where he graduated with a BA Hons in technical theatre.

    Since graduating in 2013 he has worked at the Edinburgh Fringe and toured many shows around Wales. For the last 5 years has been an in house technician, before deciding to go freelance at the start of 2023.

  • Tom Froom

    Technician

    Tom started his career as a technician by helping build set for drama productions at Heathfield Community School and went on to study at the SPACE (Somerset Performing Arts College of Education)

    Since completing the technical course in 2015, he has remained within the college, becoming the lead technician, along side working as a freelancer for many shows and venues across the South West

  • Sam Stacey

    Warehouse Technician

    Sam is our most recent technician joining us in 2022, learning with us whilst in college. Sam is currently working as our Warehouse technician, helping to prepare incoming and outgoing equipment. Sam has a keen interest in lighting and is currently working with Bravo on learning how to program EOS Family consoles on some larger shows.

    In September, He is going to study stage and screen production at the Bristol old Vic theatre school.

  • Tom Barge

    Technician

    Tom has had an interest in Theatre and events since 2018. He is currently studying in his final year of Production Arts for Stage and Screen at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has worked in local theatres across the South West and is also working as a casual technician in both the Bristol Old Vic and the Bristol Hippodrome. Tom specialises in LX Design and Operations however he also does sound for some shows and events. Tom joined Bravo Events in 2021.

  • Olly Speed

    Technician

    Olly is currently serving as our warehouse technician while completing his apprenticeship. He plays a crucial role in preparing incoming and outgoing equipment for shows and occasionally participates in event setups. With a primary interest in lighting, Olly enjoys spending time at the console programming. Post-apprenticeship, he aims to transition towards specializing in theatrical and events-based lighting, aspiring to expand his expertise through larger-scale events.
